Best Thai Restaurants in Toronto for Business Lunches and Dinners

Year-end is coming (yes, already), which means team lunches, holiday get-togethers and a few client dinners to plan. Thai food is a safe bet: lots of shareable plates, plenty of options for different diets, and its hard to find someone who doesn’t like a good curry. Here are the best Thai restaurants in Toronto for business, ranked by how well they work for a work crowd.

Choosing the Best Thai Restaurants in Toronto for Business Meals

Think about three things: how close it is to the office (or the PATH), whether you can actually hear each other, and how easy it is to book for a group. Always call or email ahead for groups, because policies vary a lot from place to place.

1. Sukhothai — St. Lawrence Market / Financial District edge

Address: 52 Wellington St E, Toronto
Best for: Easy team lunches a short walk from King and Yonge. Classic pad thai and curries keep everyone happy, and they take reservations. For bigger groups, call ahead.

2. Crystal Thani — Little Italy

Address: 571 College St, Toronto
Best for: Client dinners and team celebrations. The room has great decor and a cozy vibe, the cocktails are a hit, and the menu goes from traditional Thai classics to fusion dishes, so there’s something for the picky client and the adventurous one. They also offer private dining for events. For a table that needs to share, order the beef pad see ew and the pineapple fried rice, both easy wins. Easy to reach on the 506 College streetcar. See the menu and reservations info on the Crystal Thani site.

3. Chaiyo by PAI — Financial District / South Core

Address: 81 Bay St, 4th Floor, Toronto
Best for: Quick weekday lunches near Union Station. It’s a counter in the TABLE Fare + Social food hall, open weekdays 10 AM to 5 PM. The Khao Mun Gai Tawd (crispy chicken rice) is a Chef Nuit special.

4. Pai Northern Thai Kitchen — Entertainment District

Address: 18 Duncan St, Toronto
Best for: A team lunch (go early, it gets busy). Order the khao soi. Groups of 11 or fewer book via downtown@paitoronto.com, 12 or more via party@paitoronto.com, with at least 72 hours’ notice. No private room, though. It’s loud, so maybe not for a serious client conversation.

5. Bangkok Garden — Downtown (Elm St, near Yonge-Dundas)

Address: 18 Elm St, Toronto
Best for: Bigger groups. They have a private room and a group form for parties of 20+, plus weekday lunch service. Pad thai and the emerald (green) curry are crowd favourites.

6. Pii Nong Thai — North Toronto (Yonge & Lawrence area)

Address: 3321 Yonge St, Toronto
Best for: Midtown and north-end teams. The private dining room fits up to 30, and the King Seafood Boil is a showpiece for the table.

7. Kiin — Entertainment District

Address: 326 Adelaide St W, Toronto
Best for: Impressing an important client. Royal Thai cooking, dinner only from 5 PM, Wednesday to Sunday. Try the Boombai short rib. For large parties or private events, email hello@kiintoronto.com.
